Spell Smash — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
Spell Smash ("the App") is published by Pudra Yayıncılık ("we", "us", "our") under the Neo Games label. This policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read; if anything is unclear, contact us at the address at the end.
1. The short version
- The App has no accounts. You never give us your name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
- Your game progress (levels, gold, stickers, settings) is stored on your device only.
- We collect a small amount of technical and gameplay data through an analytics and attribution service (Adjust) so we can see that the App works, which levels are too hard, and which marketing campaigns bring new players.
- Purchases are made through Apple. We never see your payment details.
- The App shows advertisements through AppLovin MAX. To deliver and count ads, the ad service receives technical information about your device, such as its IP address.
- When you first open the App, iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you allow it, the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) is used to show more relevant ads and to measure which ads brought you to the App; if you do not, it is never read.
- The App is not directed at children under 13.
2. Information the App collects
2.1 Device and app information
When you open the App, the analytics service receives:
- an identifier for your device generated by Apple for our apps (the "identifier for vendor", IDFV) and a random identifier created by Adjust for the installation;
- device model, operating system version, language, time zone and country;
- App version and build number;
- your IP address, which is used at the moment of the request to determine the approximate country and to deliver the service, and is not stored by us;
- install, app-open and session events.
2.2 Gameplay information
The App sends events that describe how the game is played, without any content typed by you:
- tutorial completed or skipped;
- level started, completed or failed, with the level number and the moves left;
- chapter completed, sticker earned, Word Cup finished, lives run out;
- in-game gold spent and what it was spent on;
- rewarded ad watched and advertisement shown.
2.3 Purchase information
When you buy something in the App, Apple processes the payment. We receive the product identifier, the price and currency, and Apple's transaction identifier so we can deliver the item and confirm with Apple that the purchase is genuine. We never receive your card number, billing address or Apple ID password.
2.4 Advertising information
When an advertisement is requested, shown or tapped, AppLovin (our advertising service) and the advertisers it works with receive: your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (city or region, never precise GPS location), device model, operating system, language and screen size, the IDFV, the IDFA if you allowed tracking, and how you interacted with the ad (for example whether it was shown, tapped or watched to the end). This is used to choose, deliver and count ads, to prevent ad fraud and, only if you allowed tracking, to show ads based on your activity in other companies' apps and websites.
2.5 Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or any content you type. Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is read only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
3. How we use the information
- To run the App and deliver what you bought.
- To show advertisements, including rewarded videos you choose to watch, and to count them.
- To measure how many people install the App and which campaigns they came from (attribution), including through Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework.
- To understand how the game is played, balance level difficulty and fix bugs.
- To detect fraud, for example forged purchases.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share information with
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions and SKAdNetwork attribution. Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Adjust GmbH (Saarbrücker Str. 37A, 10405 Berlin, Germany) — analytics and install attribution on our behalf. Adjust's privacy policy: https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy/
- AppLovin Corp. (1100 Page Mill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) — the advertising service (AppLovin MAX) that shows the App's ads, and the advertisers and ad networks it works with. They receive the information described in section 2.4. Without your permission under App Tracking Transparency, this information is not used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. AppLovin's privacy policy: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
- Authorities and advisers — when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
We do not share information with any other third party.
5. Where the information is processed
We are based in Türkiye. Adjust processes data in the European Union; AppLovin processes data in the United States; Apple processes data worldwide under its own safeguards. Where information leaves the country you live in, we rely on the transfer mechanisms permitted by the applicable law (for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
6. How long we keep information
- Game progress stays on your device until you delete the App or reset it.
- Analytics and attribution data is kept by Adjust for as long as needed to provide us the service, and in any case no longer than the retention period in our agreement with Adjust, after which it is deleted or aggregated so it can no longer identify a device.
- Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and consumer-protection law require.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including Canada under PIPEDA and Québec's Law 25, the EU/EEA and UK under the GDPR, Türkiye under Law No. 6698 (KVKK), and California under the CCPA), you may have the right to:
- know what information we hold about your device and receive a copy;
- have that information corrected or deleted;
- object to, or restrict, certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- complain to a data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, e-mail us at the address in section 11 with your device model and the approximate date you installed the App, so we can find the records. You can also limit ad tracking at any time by turning off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. We will answer within the time the law allows, normally within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Children
The App is a general-audience word game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep access to analytics dashboards limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App changes. The effective date at the top tells you when it was last changed. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on the App Store page.
